Debug.log on Desktop

delete debug.log errorI have noticed a file appearing on my desktop called debug.log. Sometimes I could just deleted it, other times I would get an error saying: Cannot delete debug: It is being used by another person or program.

The file was always just an empty file (0 bytes).

I wanted to know what application was creating this log, so I opened up process monitor and watched for access to this file.

Internet Explorer 8 is creating this log. You can see the proof below.

debug.log

What does this mean and why is it doing this? Not sure! Once you close Internet Explorer you can delete the file without error.
