MS Surface Microsoft announced their new product today called “Surface”. I’d say it is a little ahead of its time yet, but could be useful for certain applications. A product like this has to be 100% bug free and work flawless to be placed in public places for use by average people. It can’t scare off folks that aren’t used to technology, or it will end up hurting your business rather than helping it. A restaurant application looked really neat for order drinks, desserts, and especially for paying for your meals. If it works well it could attract people in simply for the novelty of it. Microsoft surface will have a future, but it won’t be overnight.

This was one of those “I’ve got to try that” items I saw. Make a paper wallet! Still not sure the real motivation for having a paper wallet, I suppose it would be a good conversation item. When you pull it out, I’m sure folks are going to ask about it. Could also be a fun project for kids, they could color it all up when it’s done.

Here was my first attempt.

Nice!

Here is how you do it.

Google had net income of $1 billion, up from $592 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenue was a record $3.7 billion, up from $2.3 billion a year ago.

All I can say is “Wow”. Google is on a tear. I thought a year ago Google had peaked, but perhaps not. If they can stay focused and not lose sight of what made them what they are, they can still go along way.

Google has gone to far with this one.

“how to report paid links”

I think google is starting to believe the internet should only be montiezed by themselves. We are not allowed to go to the next level with our own sites and should be happy with whatever traffic or revenue we might get.
