A straight forward easy list maker. Have a thought in your head and want to quickly get it down so you don’t forget. Here is a simple 40k no-frills program to quickly manage a list. All data is written to a text file for easy printing or copying.
The text file where the list is written. The text file is always created in the same folder as the program.

This is so very simple, it can hardly be called a program. But sometimes simple is better. I had a need for a one task only program, to copy a file from one location to another, remembering the locations for easier use. This is the result. A free copy program. Uses .NET framework, so be sure you have that installed first. Sorry, nothing more to say about it.

If you ever think of old mental hospitals or asylums, this might be how you picture them.

Kirkbride Buildings Information website with lots of great photos.
The reason that many looked this way is not a coincidence. This was a very specific and intentional design. There were often placed on large expansive grounds, well outside of a suburban area. The buildings were very detailed to provide a very respectable look and feeling. The structures consisted of 2 main wings on each side of a central administration area, this allowed maximum exposure to each room for light and air. It also allowed for the greatest seperation of patients by gender and severity of illness.
These buildings have always been fascinating, just to think of all the folks that passed through the walls of these buildings.
