Google had net income of $1 billion

Google had net income of $1 billion, up from $592 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenue was a record $3.7 billion, up from $2.3 billion a year ago.

All I can say is “Wow”. Google is on a tear. I thought a year ago Google had peaked, but perhaps not. If they can stay focused and not lose sight of what made them what they are, they can still go along way.

WoW! I thought they had peaked too but with the advancement of local maps, local searches, google trends, google insights and everything else they are releasing they seem to be on the up and up! I am still using google adwords to promote services and products even though so many internet gurus have switched off. Only rivals for google in the horizon are Facebook and Apple, both are fast gathering pace. Apple have now hit 10 Billion App Downloads from their app store!
